XP Carry Bags, Backpacks & Cases

XP builds its carry gear the way it builds the Deus: as a system. The MOLLE-equipped Backpack 280, finds pouch, hip-mount remote cases, and pinpointer holster all clip together into one modular rig for Deus, Deus II, and ORX — and hard transport cases handle the travel days. Every piece is a genuine XP accessory from an authorized dealer.

The Modular System: Backpack 280 + Finds Pouch

The XP Backpack 280 is the hub of the system — a detectorist-specific pack that carries a broken-down Deus or ORX with room for coils and recovery gear, with MOLLE webbing on the belt. The XP Finds Pouch clips straight onto it (or any standard belt), adds a drainage system for wet-sand work, and takes the MI-6 pinpointer holster on its side fasteners — so pack, pouch, and pinpointer ride as one unit. The compact Backpack 240 covers lighter days. If you run a Deus II, this is the carry setup it was designed around.

Remote Cases, Hard Cases & Small Gear

Because the Deus family is wireless, its remote control needs its own home: XP's hip-mount cases with belt clips keep the Deus or Deus II remote readable and protected on your belt. For transport, the molded hard cases — one for Deus/Deus II/ORX, one for the XTREM Hunter — are the air-travel and rough-haul answer, and small zip bags cover WS5 headphones and phones. It's the full chain: field rig on your back, electronics on your belt, hard shell for the road.

XP Carry Gear FAQs

What's the difference between the Backpack 240 and 280?

Size and system depth. The 280 is the full modular platform — bigger capacity and MOLLE integration with the finds pouch and MI-6 holster. The 240 is the lighter, simpler pack for shorter hunts. Both are designed around the broken-down Deus/ORX shaft.

Will the hard case fit my Deus II with coils?

The XP hard transport case is molded for the Deus, Deus II, and ORX with their standard coils and components. The XTREM Hunter has its own dedicated case. Check the product page for your exact coil configuration or ask us.

Does the finds pouch work without the backpack?

Yes — it includes an adjustable belt strap for standalone wear; the MOLLE fasteners are a bonus when you add the backpack later.
