30-Day Money Back Guarantee
You may return or exchange any metal detector or accessory within 30 days of receiving your order for a full refund, as long as the item is new, unused, unassembled, and still in its original unopened packaging with all manuals and manufacturer documentation included.
Return shipping, insurance, and packaging costs are the customer’s responsibility. If your order originally shipped with a free-shipping promotion, the cost of outbound shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you prefer, you may choose store credit—in that case, no shipping fees are deducted.
Defective or Incorrect Items
If your detector or accessory arrives defective out of the box, or if we made an error with your order, contact us within 14 days and we will provide a prepaid return label and replace the item at no cost to you.
Opened or Used Items
If an item has been opened or lightly used but remains undamaged, it may still be returned within the 30-day period with a 15% restocking fee. We are unable to accept returns after 30 days.
Bundled Products
Bundles must be returned with all included items in new condition. If a bundled item has been opened or used but not damaged, a 15% restocking fee will apply based on the original item’s price.
Final Sale Items
Due to manufacturer restrictions, the following items are Final Sale and are not eligible for returns or refunds:

How to Start a Return
To ensure a smooth return process, please follow these three steps:
- Email our support team at support@seriousdetecting.com with your order number and the reason for your return.
- We will respond within 48 hours with return instructions and, when required, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) ID.
- Pack your item securely and ship it back using the carrier of your choice.
Refund Processing Time
Once your return arrives and is inspected (typically within 48 hours of receipt), we will process your refund. Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7 days. Depending on your bank or credit card provider, it may take an additional 2–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
