Coverage:

• Duration: 5 years from the initial date of purchase
• Includes: Parts and labor for any defects in materials or workmanship

Post-Warranty Repair:

• Additional Repair Period: Minimum of 5 years after the initial warranty
• Repair Policy: XP will repair products for a reasonable fee regardless of the fault after the warranty period

Product Lifespan:

• XP Metal Detectors products are designed to have a lifespan of at least 10 years

Warranty Exclusions

Not Covered:

• Breakage due to falls, impacts, or accidental damage
• Damage from abnormal use or non-compliance with usage instructions
• Unauthorized alterations to the electronic circuit
• Use without coil cover or with a defective coil cover
• Corrosion of electronic circuits from water ingress
• Reduction in battery life due to ageing
• Breakage of cables or wires

Wear and Tear:

• Spare parts (not covered under 5-year warranty)
• Parts subject to normal wear and tear (headphone earpads, coil bolts and fittings, cases, etc.)

Special Warranty Conditions:

• Batteries, pinpointers, chargers, and connectors have a 2-year warranty

Warranty Claims

Procedure:

• Initial Steps: Use the diagnostic tool for troubleshooting
• If Unresolved: Contact your XP dealer for advice
• Returning Faulty Parts: Include a note explaining the fault and proof of purchase
• Customer Responsibility: Carriage/shipping costs

Warranty Continuation:

• If a faulty device is replaced with a new or reconditioned one, the warranty continues from the original purchase date
