My buddy and I got up early and set out to find a location to hunt. We stumbled upon an old foundation on Central PA that on my 1870 map said was an old lime kiln operation. We found at least 40 colonial buttons, many colonial and 1800s large copper coins and I got a gold coin. I went over a high tone that James had recently passed up and thought I would dig it. I was double tapping on my Equinox 800. I put in my shovel and dug my plug. It was a wiped colonial copper. After filming this ai decided to recheck my hole. I got a really weak 10 signal which is usually foil. Well, this time it wasn’t foil, it was a 1786 1/2 escudo. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Safe to say my partner doesn’t skip signals anymore!
