Took the simplex out for the first to my sister and brother in-law's place in the country this last Saturday to try it out and hit gold! My nephew had gotten a detector as a kid 35 years ago and got in his mom's jewelry box and buried some rings. One was my great grandmother's wedding ring. But it was never recovered. Within 10 minutes on my second hole, up pops the ring! Sadly my sister has since past. My wife tried it on and it fit, so that is where it will stay.
