How Does Pulse Induction Work?
Pulse induction technology works by using one coil that acts as both the receiver and the transmitter. This coil sends electricity down into the ground which creates a magnetic field. When these pulses hit a metal object, or in this case gold, the detector will then pick up that signal and alert the user.
How Does High Frequency VLF Work?
VLF metal detectors use two coils, one that sends and another that receives to help pick up targets in the ground. Because of this VLF detectors are much better at detecting shallower targets compared to pulse induction technology which is better for deeper targets.
