Notes on cross-compatibility

  • ACE series coils are shared. Garrett PROformance and Sniper coils listed under any ACE model fit the ACE 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 and 400.
  • Vortex coils are shared across VX5, VX7 and VX9. The Reaper, Raider, Viper and Ripper coils fit all three.
  • Z-Lynk wireless works across ranges. The CS-3 and MS-3 Z-Lynk headphones and the Z-Lynk transmitter/receiver work with the Vortex series, AT Max, ACE Apex, Axiom and the Pro-Pointer AT Z-Lynk.
  • AT and ACE share some hardware. The 9" x 12" coil cover, armrest strap, armrest pad and coil hardware kit fit both the AT series and the ACE series.

Frequently asked questions

Do ACE 300 coils fit the ACE 400?
Yes. Garrett ACE series coils are interchangeable across the ACE 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 and 400.

Will Vortex coils fit my VX5?
Yes. The Vortex Reaper, Raider, Viper and Ripper coils fit the VX5, VX7 and VX9.

Which headphones work wirelessly with my Garrett?
Z-Lynk-enabled machines — Vortex series, AT Max, ACE Apex, Axiom — pair with the CS-3 or MS-3. Non-Z-Lynk machines can use the Z-Lynk transmitter and receiver with a 1/4" jack, or wired MS-2 headphones.
