When to Choose the C45 Large Coil
This 17.5" coil excels in wide open spaces where you need to cover ground quickly while maintaining excellent depth. It's ideal for beach hunting, large fields, and areas with minimal trash where the extra size won't be a hindrance. The larger electromagnetic field penetrates deeper into the soil, giving you the best chance at finding deeply buried targets.
Keep in mind that larger coils are more sensitive to ground mineralization and can be challenging in trashy areas. For those situations, consider one of the smaller CF77 coil options.
