About This Coil
The CORS Detonation represents a significant upgrade over the standard 5x8 coil that ships with the AT Gold. Its larger 13x14 elliptical profile excels at covering ground quickly while the DD (Double-D) configuration maintains excellent target separation in trashy areas. The coil's design specifically targets small to medium-sized objects - perfect for gold prospecting in mineralized soil where the AT Gold performs best.
Important: This coil works ONLY with the Garrett AT Gold - it's not compatible with the AT Pro due to different frequency requirements. The screw-on connector provides a secure, waterproof connection, and the reinforced mounting bracket handles rough field conditions without flexing.
CORS Labs fills each coil body with premium epoxy resin and uses German-made cable with gold-plated contacts for maximum durability.
