The Raytech TV-10 spare bowl and lid gives Tumble-Vibe 10 owners a second processing chamber for their vibratory rock tumbler. Rock polishing runs through several grit stages, and Raytech recommends a dedicated bowl for each media step, so a spare keeps coarse grit out of your polish stage and lets you swap stages in seconds instead of scrubbing one bowl between runs.

Check your bowl size before ordering. This is the 0.10 cubic foot, 10 inch bowl that fits the Raytech TV-10 vibratory tumbler and the Raytech Tumble-Vibe 10 rock polishing kit. If you run the smaller TV-5, you need the Raytech 23-005 8 inch bowl instead.

Why Keep a Spare Bowl on Hand

    • Dedicated bowls per grit stage: residue from a coarse stage carried into a fine stage works against the polish, so tumblers who run multi-step media keep a bowl for each step and match each stage with the right rock tumbler polish and grit.
    • Tough cross-linked polyethylene stands up to abrasive slurry run after run.
    • The noise-reducing lid is included, the same quieting lid the TV10 ships with.
    • No drain fitting: wet stages are emptied by tipping the bowl, so plan your rinse setup accordingly.

Does the Raytech TV-10 spare bowl come with a lid?

Yes — the Raytech TV-10 spare bowl includes the noise-reducing lid. The set is the same 0.10 cubic foot, 10 inch cross-linked polyethylene bowl and lid the Raytech TV-10 vibratory tumbler ships with, so it drops straight onto the machine with no extra parts. Does the Raytech TV-10 spare bowl have a drain?

No — the Raytech TV-10 spare bowl has no drain. It is a solid cross-linked polyethylene bowl, so wet grit stages are emptied by tipping the bowl out rather than through a drain fitting. If your process depends on a drained bowl, confirm your machine's configuration before ordering.

Why does Raytech recommend a spare bowl for the Tumble-Vibe 10?

Raytech recommends a spare bowl for the Tumble-Vibe 10 whenever you run more than a one-media process — a dedicated bowl per grit step keeps coarse grit from carrying over into your fine and polish stages. Keeping stages separate is standard vibratory tumbling practice, and each stage pairs with its own rock tumbler polish and grit.
