What comes in the Garrett All Terrain Dig Pouch and Edge Digger bundle?

The Garrett All Terrain Dig Pouch and Edge Digger bundle includes three pieces: the All Terrain Dig Pouch (part 1664800), the Garrett Edge Digger (part 1626200), and the Garrett belt sheath the digger ships in. The pouch has a mesh drain bottom, a pinpointer holster, a small outer finds pocket, an interior carabiner and two zippered pockets. No detector or pinpointer is included. You can also buy the All Terrain Dig Pouch on its own.

How deep can the Garrett Edge Digger dig?

The Garrett Edge Digger has a 7.5 in serrated blade and measures 12 in overall, so it reaches most coin and jewelry targets in turf, sand and loose soil in a single plug. It is a hand tool rather than a replacement for a long handled shovel, so relic targets deep in packed clay still call for a full size digger. Will the Garrett Edge Digger rust if I use it at the beach?

The Garrett Edge Digger blade is carbon steel, which cuts roots and packed soil well but will rust if salt water is left to sit on it. Rinse the blade with fresh water after every beach hunt, dry it, and wipe it with a light oil before it goes back in the sheath. Store the sheath dry too, since damp nylon holds salt against the steel. See more Garrett gear.
