XP S-Telescopic Stem for Deus and Deus II Metal Detectors

The XP S-Telescopic Stem is compatible with both the XP Deus and the XP Deus II metal detectors. The stem ships with the upper assembly, arm cup, and armstrap.

The S-Telescopic Stem ships with the upper stem assembly, arm cup, and armstrap, but you need to order the lower stem and coil hardware separately to complete the shaft. The lower stem connects the S-Telescopic upper section to your coil, and the coil hardware includes the mounting screws and spacers that secure the coil to the lower stem. Check the coil size you plan to use and order the matching lower stem and hardware kit to finish the assembly. The coil hardware kit uses reinforced plastic screws and includes a top hat spacer that XP recommends changing regularly to avoid damaging the coil fastening lugs.

The detector folds to 65cm in length when the S-Telescopic Stem is collapsed and paired with a 9-inch coil. This folded dimension fits inside a standard daypack's main compartment, making it practical for multi-site hunts where you hike between locations. The telescopic design allows you to collapse the stem of your detector and store it in your backpack in just a few seconds. The S-Telescopic Stem accepts the XP stem holder for the WS4 headset, allowing you to mount the WS4 on the shaft and use it as a remote control. The stem holder is an accessory designed for XP Deus detectors and is sold separately along with the WS4 headset. The stem holder turns your WS4 headset into a remote control when mounted on the stem. Both the stem holder and WS4 are compatible with the S-Telescopic design.
