The Falcon MD20 operates at 300kHz, a frequency far higher than standard VLF detectors, which typically run between 5kHz and 20kHz. This ultra-high frequency makes the MD20 exceptionally sensitive to tiny gold flakes and fine jewelry, but it sacrifices depth and large-target detection in exchange. We use the MD20 as a probe, not a primary detector.
