Two Coils, One Rule: Match the Coil to the Ground

The 6" x 10" DD is your default in gold country. Its Double-D winding cancels ground signal along the sweep, keeping the 24k quiet and stable over ironstone, black sand, and hot rocks. When the ground calms down - hillside slide material, worked-out tailings, milder desert soil - bolt on the 6" concentric. The concentric winding gives up extreme-ground manners in exchange for more depth, more accurate target ID, and heightened sensitivity to the smallest pickers. Serious patch hunters run the DD to find the patch, then grid it again with the concentric to pull the fine gold the first pass left behind.

XGB Ground Balance with Ground-Sync and TracLock

Whichever coil is on the machine, the XGB system automatically tracks mineralization as it changes under your sweep. Pump the coil with Ground-Sync for an instant update when you cross into new ground, or hit TracLock to freeze the setting so a shallow nugget can't pull your balance off.
