Condition and Warranty

Open box units at Serious Detecting are customer returns or display machines. This unit has been opened, inspected and function-tested by our team, and repacked with the complete factory contents listed below. It is not a refurbished or previously registered warranty unit. It carries Minelab's full 3-year manufacturer warranty on the control box and coil from your purchase date, exactly as a new unit does, and our 30-day return policy applies. Open box stock is one of a kind; when this unit sells, the listing comes down. Note that the free Serious Detecting field kit offered with new Manticores is not included with open box units.

What You Are Getting

The Manticore is Minelab's top multi-frequency detector. Multi-IQ+ transmits five frequencies at once (5, 10, 15, 20 and 40 kHz), and the 2D Target ID map plots ferrous and conductive readings on separate axes so a bottle cap and a silver coin no longer land on the same number. Ten preset search modes cover parks, fields, beach and surf, and goldfields, with ten custom slots on top. The whole machine is IP68 rated to 5 m (16 ft), weighs 1.3 kg (2.9 lbs), collapses to 24.8 in, and runs about 10 hours on its built-in battery.
