The Minelab USB-C Charging Cable with Magnetic Connector is the genuine replacement charging cable for the Vanquish 60 Series — the Vanquish 360, 460, and 560. It's the same cable that ships in the box with every V60 detector: a USB-C plug on one end and Minelab's snap-on magnetic connector on the other, which clicks onto the charging port on the back of the control pod and tops up the built-in lithium-ion battery for up to 10 hours of detecting per charge.

Why the Magnetic Connector Matters

The Vanquish 60 Series is IP68 rated and waterproof to 5 m (16 ft), which means it gets used in surf, creeks, and rain-soaked fields. A traditional charging port would collect sand and grit in exactly those conditions. Minelab's magnetic connector solves this: the charging contacts sit flush on the detector, so after a wet or sandy hunt you simply wipe them clean, and the cable snaps back on with correct alignment every time — no pins to bend, no port to clog. In our experience, this is also the first cable to go missing on a group dig, so a spare in the pouch or truck is cheap insurance against a dead detector on hunt day.
