Teknetics Eurotek Pro Metal Detector

The Teknetics Eurotek Pro is a lightweight VLF that punches above its class in iron: FeTone adjustable iron audio, variable breakpoint, variable iron discrimination, an iron identifier LED and fast recovery speed for pulling non-ferrous keepers out of nail beds. Add 3-tone audio ID, numeric target ID, a 5-segment depth indicator and a five-year warranty, and it is clear why it built a loyal following among relic and farm-field hunters. This hub collects Eurotek Pro detectors with the 11 in DD coil, the Tek-Point pinpointer bundle, manuals, and the full spread of OEM, CORS and Mars coils for both the Eurotek Pro and the original Eurotek.

Iron Handling Above Its Class

FeTone lets you turn iron down instead of off, so you keep the information without the fatigue, and the variable breakpoint lets you decide exactly where iron ends and diggable targets begin. The iron identifier LED gives a second opinion on edge-of-range hits, and the fast recovery speed means a nail an inch from a coin does not erase the coin. Motion discrimination, adjustable sensitivity and a large-target overload warning round out a feature set that explains the forum reputation this machine carries. It uses numeric target IDs rather than vague categories, so what you learn on the Eurotek Pro transfers to any machine you run later.

Eurotek vs Eurotek Pro: Check Coil Compatibility

The original Eurotek and the Eurotek Pro use different coil connections, and almost no coil fits both. The OEM 11 in DD black coil with the plug-in connector fits the Eurotek only, while the screw-on 11 in DD elliptical fits the Eurotek Pro along with the G2 and the Greek series. The same split runs through the aftermarket: CORS Scout, Detonation and Fire in the Greek-series listings fit the Eurotek Pro only, and separate CORS Detonation, Fire and Cannon versions plus the Mars Lion 7 in DD exist specifically for the original Eurotek (with a Eurotek Pro version of the Lion as well). Every listing on this page states which machine it fits. Read that line before ordering.

Where to Go from Here

If you want ground balance control on top of the Eurotek Pro's iron skills, the Gamma 6000 adds manual and Ground Grab computerized balancing with a mineralization readout. The Alpha 2000 is the simpler entry point for a second machine or a family loaner. The full range, including current production models, is on the Teknetics brand page.
