    Do you need to classify material before running the Gold Cube 3 Stack Deluxe with the trommel?

    No, you do not need to classify material before running the Gold Cube 3 Stack Deluxe with the trommel fitted. The trommel classifies as it runs: shovelfuls go straight into the hopper, it accepts rock up to about 3 inches, and only material passing the 3/16 inch punch plate drops into the Cube. Run the Cube without the trommel and you classify to 1/8 inch first, so keep screens in your gold prospecting kit.

    Does the Gold Cube 3 Stack Deluxe come with a battery?

    No, the Gold Cube 3 Stack Deluxe does not come with a battery. The kit includes the 1100 GPH 12 volt pump, hose and hose adapters, but you supply the 12 volt power for both the pump and the trommel's gear motor. Gold Cube suggests a deep cycle battery for hours of running; a regular car battery is enough for a couple of hours.

    Can you remove the trommel and run the Gold Cube 3 Stack Deluxe on its own?

    Yes, you can remove the trommel and run the Gold Cube 3 Stack Deluxe on its own. The trommel mounts to the water tray with the included template and hardware, a job that takes a drill, pliers and a screwdriver, and it lifts back off when you want the bare Cube or a Gold Banker on top. Banker tops and spare trays are stocked in the Gold Cube range.
