This Serious Detecting kit pairs the coil and its cover with a lower rod and mounting hardware, so the coil arrives ready to mount on its own rod.

This kit is for AT owners who want a mid-size DD coil for parks, fields, beaches and shallow water, either as a replacement for a damaged coil or as a second coil kept on its own lower rod. The DD winding stays steady in mineralized soil and wet salt sand, where a concentric coil of the same size is more likely to get noisy.
