The Minelab Z17 Coil Cover is the genuine protective skidplate for the Z17 17 inch Concentric Toroidal Coil used on the GPZ 8000 gold detector. It fits over the underside of the coil and absorbs the scrapes, knocks, and constant ground contact of goldfield detecting, so the wear lands on an inexpensive replaceable cover instead of your coil.
