Replace a bent, dented or worn middle rod with this genuine Nokta aluminum middle shaft (17000637). It is the same part that ships on the Nokta Kruzer, Gold Kruzer and Makro Racer series, so your detector keeps its original length, balance and swing feel.

When to Replace Your Middle Shaft

The middle shaft takes a lot of abuse. It gets knocked against rocks, stepped on and bent when the detector is dropped or packed in a vehicle. A bent rod throws off your swing and can stress the coil cable and connections. Swapping in a new stock shaft returns the detector to factory condition, whether you are coin shooting in parks or prospecting rough gold ground.
