RTG Big Aluminum 7" Screen Water Hunting Scoop for Metal Detecting

The RTG Big Aluminum 7" Screen water hunting scoop brings serious basket volume to the shallows without the weight penalty. The 7" diameter by 10" long bucket is formed from 1/8" aluminum with 5/8" holes punched throughout the bucket and back, and this Screen edition adds a sifting screen to the basket so the small stuff that slips through big drain holes, thin chains, small earrings, fine gold, stays caught with the coins and rings. It shares its design with RTG's 7" Hercules stainless scoop at roughly half the weight, about 4.5 lbs, so you can work a full tide window in the water without your shoulders clocking out early. Made in the USA by Reilly's Treasured Gold.

Big Bucket, Light Swing, Fine Catch

Water hunting rewards volume: every plunge of a 7" x 10" bucket moves more bottom than two bites from a small basket, and in waist deep water fewer bites means fewer targets lost to current and murk. The 1-1/4" aluminum handle gives you real leverage, an aluminum brace is welded across the top of the bucket for strength, and the square bracket welded between bucket and handle doubles as a foot kicker, so you can drive the scoop into packed bottom with your boot instead of your back. The 5/8" punched holes dump sand and water fast, while the screen keeps the fine jewelry that justifies water hunting in the first place. A rubber grip on the handle end (color may vary) keeps control when everything is wet, and aluminum construction means the salt takes no bite. RTG backs it with a 90 day limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
