The Keeper is a coiled security lanyard that tethers your pinpointer to your belt, pouch or gear, so the probe stays with you instead of being left beside a dig hole. A metal ring attaches to the pinpointer and a carabiner clip attaches to you, and it connects in seconds. It suits anyone who hunts with a probe-style pinpointer and has ever had to walk back and search for one.

Why a pinpointer lanyard is worth having

A pinpointer gets set down dozens of times a hunt: in grass, in loose dirt, in the surf line. It is easy to fill a hole and walk away without it. The Keeper is an affordable insurance policy against losing a probe that costs many times more than the lanyard.

Features of the Keeper security lanyard

    • Coiled, low-resistance cord: the coil stretches when you reach into a hole and pulls back when you are done, so it does not snag or drag on the ground or fight you while you pinpoint.
    • Carabiner clip: clips onto a belt loop, finds pouch, digger holster or harness, and unclips just as quickly when you want the probe free.
    • Metal attachment ring: connects the lanyard to your pinpointer in seconds, with no tools.
    • Durable design: keeps the probe attached and in view even if it slips out of your hand.

    Compatible pinpointers

    • Garrett ProPointer
    • Treasure Products Vibra-Probe 580
    • Treasure Products Vibra-Tector 730
    • Treasure Products Vibra-Quatic 2

Current pinpointers from these brands are in our Garrett pinpointers and Treasure Products pinpointers collections. If you are still choosing a probe, compare every model in our pinpointer collection.
