XP DEUS II 5-Year Warranty Extension: 10 Years Total Coverage

The XP DEUS II 5-Year Warranty Extension adds five years to XP's standard five-year warranty on the DEUS II, for 10 years of coverage against manufacturing defects in total. It is XP's official extension, activated with a registration code on the XP Updater. It suits DEUS II owners who plan to keep their detector for the long term and bought it new within the last two years.

What the DEUS II Warranty Extension Covers

The extension covers the parts that came in your XP DEUS II detector package:

• The DEUS II remote control
• The WS6 module or the headphones supplied in your package
• The FMF search coil supplied in your package

Coverage follows the same terms as XP's original DEUS II warranty, which covers defects in materials and workmanship. See all DEUS II packages and accessories in our XP Deus II collection.

What the Extension Does Not Cover

• Batteries: XP covers batteries separately for two years from purchase. The extension does not lengthen that.
• Return shipping: the cost of returning a unit for warranty repair is not covered under the extension.
• Coils and accessories bought separately: an extra FMF coil bought on its own needs its own FMF coil warranty extension. Both are in our XP warranty extension collection.
• XP's standard exclusions: damage from falls, impacts or accidents, misuse, corrosion from water ingress, broken cables, using a coil without its cover or with a damaged cover, and normal wear parts such as ear pads, coil bolts and cases.

Who Can Buy the Extension

• You bought your XP DEUS II new from an authorized XP dealer. Serious Detecting is an authorized XP dealer.
• Your DEUS II was purchased no more than 24 months ago. The extension must be bought and activated within that window.
• You have the original purchase invoice for your DEUS II. XP requires it during activation.

How to Activate the Extension

1. Buy the extension: after your order, you receive a unique registration code.
2. Open the XP Updater: register the code against the coil that came with your DEUS II.
3. Upload your invoice: add the proof of purchase for your DEUS II during registration.
4. Coverage confirmed: once registration is complete, your DEUS II has 10 years of total warranty coverage from the original purchase date.

Activation is mandatory. An extension code that is never registered on the XP Updater gives no extra coverage.
