Who the Fisher F75 LTD is for
The LTD suits relic and cache hunters on iron-heavy sites and mineralized ground. The 5 inch coil works tight, trashy spots, the 11 inch DD covers open ground, and FeTone keeps iron audible at a lower volume so good targets stand out. The coils are waterproof, but the control box is not weatherproof and has no IP rating.

Where the Fisher F75 LTD works best and its limits
Fisher's manual names coin shooting and relic hunting as the F75's most popular uses and calls it well suited to gold prospecting. Boost Mode is an enhanced sensitivity process for deep targets on ground that is not trashy, and Cache Locating Mode reaches farther still with a noticeably slower response. In both, Fisher says target separation stays comparable to the default process only if you slow your sweep, so we would slow down on busy sites. Wet ocean beaches are the main limit: Fisher says the F75 is not specifically designed for high performance in saltwater, and FASTGRAB will not balance over a wet saltwater beach, so the ground balance is set by hand there.
Coils and the F75 manual are in our Fisher F75 collection.
