The Minelab GO-FIND carry bag (part 3011-0312) is the Minelab-made bag for the GO-FIND series. It is a black canvas bag with a zip front pocket and an adjustable shoulder strap, sized for a GO-FIND detector folded down to its collapsed length. Use it to keep the detector clean in the closet or the trunk and to carry it with a digger, earbuds and finds to the site.
Who this bag is for
This is the right bag if you own a GO-FIND 11, GO-FIND 22, GO-FIND 44 or GO-FIND 66 and want the detector covered and carried as one piece. It also fits the earlier GO-FIND 20, 40 and 60, which fold to the same size.
It is not padded. If you want the detector protected against knocks in checked luggage or the back of a truck, look at a padded case instead; other Minelab carry bags and pouches and our non padded bags are listed by brand and by padding so you can compare.
What it does in use
- Fits the detector folded. The GO-FIND 22, 44 and 66 collapse to 21.9 in (555 mm), and the bag is about 26.5 in long, so the folded detector goes in with the coil attached and room to spare.
- Zip front pocket. Holds the small things that otherwise rattle around loose: earbuds, the GO-FIND digging tool, a finds pouch, spare AA batteries.
- Adjustable shoulder strap. Extends to about 48 in, long enough to carry across the body on a walk in from the car.
- Light. Canvas, no padding, so it adds almost nothing to the 2.2 to 2.3 lb detector.
