The Nokta 17000067 is the standard-length carbon fiber lower shaft for Nokta's Simplex, Legend, Score and FINDX detectors. It is the section between the middle shaft and the search coil, and the one that takes the knocks: dropped on rocks, stepped on, caught in brush or bent in a fall. Keep one as a spare or use it to replace a cracked or damaged lower shaft and get back to hunting at the same length your detector came with.

Who this lower shaft is for

This part is for owners of a compatible Nokta whose lower shaft is cracked, split, worn at the coil mount, or lost. It is also worth keeping a spare if you travel to hunt, since a broken lower shaft ends a trip.

If your detector is too short for you even at full extension, buy the longer version instead: the Nokta extended carbon fiber lower shaft (17000652) is 64.5 cm (25.4 in) and fits the same detectors. If you own a Nokta Legend 2 or Nokta Gold Kruzer, this part does not fit; those detectors use their own lower shafts.
