Nokta Protective System Box Cover for Simplex, Score & FINDX Detectors

The Nokta 17000757 Protective System Box Cover is a fitted cover for the control housing (system box) of Nokta's current Simplex, Score and FINDX detectors. It slips over the housing to take the scuffs, scratches and grime that come from laying the detector down in sand, gravel and mud, so the housing itself stays clean and the detector keeps its resale condition.

Who this cover is for

This cover is for owners of a Nokta Simplex, Score or FINDX who set their detector down on the ground while digging, hunt beaches and gravel, or simply want to keep the control housing looking new. It is also an easy replacement if the cover that came with your detector is torn or lost.

If you own the Nokta Legend or Legend 2, this cover does not fit; each has its own system box cover. The Legend cover is in our Nokta Legend collection.

What it does in the field

• Takes the scuffs instead of the housing. Sand, grit and gravel scratch a bare control housing every time the detector is laid down. The cover takes that wear.
• Keeps grime off the housing. Mud and wet sand collect on the cover instead of working into the seams of the housing, and the cover is easy to slide off and rinse.
• Controls stay usable. The cover is shaped to the housing with a clear front panel, so you can still see the screen and press the buttons with it fitted.

What is in the box

• One Nokta protective system box cover (part number 17000757)

System box cover or screen protector?

• System box cover (this part): protects the whole control housing from scuffs, scratches and grime.
• Nano-glass screen protector: a thin glass layer that goes directly on the display to prevent scratches on the screen itself. Nokta makes these for the Simplex and FINDX series and for the Score series.

Many detectorists use both. You will find both in our metal detector parts and accessories collection.
