The Nokta Triple Score Pro Pack with a Nokta AccuPOINT LITE pinpointer makes sense for experienced detectorists who want Relic mode, more audio and frequency choices and two coils for parks, beaches and iron-heavy historical sites. The AccuPOINT LITE takes over once the hole is open, so recoveries go faster from the first outing. Nokta's Pro Pack box holds the SC30 and SC24 coils and Bluetooth aptX Low Latency headphones, and the detector is waterproof to 5 meters (16 feet).

What the add-ons in this Nokta Triple Score Pro Pack bundle do
Nokta AccuPOINT LITE pinpointer: the Triple Score has a built-in non-motion pinpoint with a 5-level depth indicator, which narrows down where to dig. Once the hole is open, a handheld pinpointer finds the target in the loose soil faster, which helps you recover targets quickly and responsibly. Nokta rates the AccuPOINT LITE IP68, waterproof to 3 meters (10 feet) with its back cover fully tightened, and rates the detector separately to 5 meters (16 feet). Nokta lists the AccuPOINT LITE at 20 kHz with a 9 cm (3.5 inch) detection tip, a color LCD, 9 sensitivity levels, 1-tone, 2-tone and Iron-Off settings, and audio, vibration or both. Its 1650 mAh battery runs about 25 hours and charges over USB Type-C, a lost alarm sounds after 5 minutes of inactivity, it weighs 217 g (7.65 oz), and Nokta covers it with a 2-year warranty. About the Nokta Triple Score Pro Pack
What we appreciate about the Nokta Triple Score Pro Pack is that Nokta took the straightforward simultaneous multi-frequency (SMF) platform of the Score Series and added features experienced detectorists can genuinely use: more control over recovery speed, audio, frequency and iron handling, plus a dedicated Relic mode. Nokta's Pro Pack box holds the standard SC30 coil, the smaller SC24 and Bluetooth aptX Low Latency headphones, useful for someone who searches open fields one weekend and iron-heavy homesites the next. We would not recommend it simply because it has the most features in the series; the extra controls matter most when you understand them, and for ordinary parks and beaches the Double Score already covers the fundamentals.
Nokta's manual recommends Multi in all modes. Park and Field mode offer three Multi settings (M1 favors high conductors, M2 low conductors, M3 wet or conductive soil and trashy parks) plus single 4, 15 and 20 kHz frequencies; Beach and Relic mode run Multi only. We would begin with Multi and try a single frequency only for a specific reason; 20 kHz does not automatically find more gold, and 4 kHz does not automatically detect deeper.
Nokta Triple Score search modes and key settings
- Relic mode: Multi only, with volume and pitch that change with signal strength, another way to interpret difficult signals on an old farmstead. Its own settings are Iron Reject (0 to 5) and Audio Gain (1 to 6), and its default pattern is All Metal. It responds to metal, not to age, and Nokta notes that fringe-depth targets may give an unstable ID in Relic mode.
- Recovery speed (1 to 5): five steps against three on the Double Score; slower in a clean field to keep stronger responses from deeper targets, faster near a foundation crowded with nails. We would not use the fastest setting everywhere.
- Tones (1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 60 or P) and iron volume (0 to 10): 60-tone gives each target ID its own pitch, and P lets pitch follow signal strength. More tones add information, not accuracy; we would begin with Nokta's default of 2 tones and add detail as experience grows. Iron volume keeps iron audible without wearing you out.
- Bottle cap rejection (0 to 8) and threshold (0 to 30): bottle cap rejection, Multi only, can reduce coin-like signals from rusty caps in a popular park. Nokta's default is 0, and we would raise it only when necessary, since aggressive rejection has tradeoffs near iron.
- Ground balance, iron filter and notch: Automatic, Manual and Tracking ground balance (automatic only in Relic mode), with Tracking for changing ground rather than every site; iron filter 0 to 9 (1 to 9 in Beach), Multi only; notch two IDs at a time.
- Sensitivity (1 to 15), three user profiles and Deep Target Identification (0 to 6): finer steps near interference, without extra depth; saved setups for a park, a field and a beach; and dt for certain deep non-ferrous targets that would otherwise read as iron, where higher values may reduce stability.
Beach and water hunting with the Nokta Triple Score Pro Pack
Nokta rates the Triple Score IP68, dust tight and fully submersible to 5 meters (16 feet), covering the control box and both waterproof coils. Beach mode runs Multi only, warns you about black sand and adds a Stability adjustment from -1 to -5 for wet, conductive sand near the surf. Not every part of the Pro Pack goes underwater: Nokta's Bluetooth headphones are not waterproof, so leave them on shore, and Nokta makes waterproof headphones for underwater audio. Keep the shared headphone and charging socket closed with its screw cap, and never take the detector underwater on a power bank. See our beach metal detectors.
Where the Nokta Triple Score Pro Pack works well, and where it does not
Relic hunting, coin hunting, heavily hunted parks and freshwater and saltwater beaches all suit the Triple Score. On a historical property with iron, brass, lead and old coins you can adjust recovery speed and iron filter, change the audio, use Relic mode and switch to the SC24 when separation matters, but it cannot see through every piece of iron. See more relic and treasure metal detectors. Its modes are Park, Field, Beach and Relic, with no gold prospecting mode. Nokta also makes more advanced detectors such as the Nokta Legend 2; we would move up only with a specific reason to use the extra capability.
Nokta Triple Score Pro Pack coils, battery and build
The SC30 (12 x 9 inches) covers a large open field; around an old farmhouse full of nails, the SC24 (9.5 x 6 inches) has a narrower footprint that isolates closely spaced targets and works around trees and rocks, with less ground coverage and potentially less depth on some targets. The headphones let you hear targets without the speaker when people are nearby, with low latency between detector and ears. Nokta lists the Triple Score at 1.2 kg (2.6 lb) including the search coil, with carbon fiber upper and lower shafts adjusting from 63 to 132 cm (25 to 52 inches). The built-in 3250 mAh lithium polymer battery lasts 5 to 12 hours depending on settings, charges in about 3 to 4 hours from a 5 V 2 A USB adapter, and is replaced only by Nokta or an authorized service center.
One mistake to avoid with the Nokta Triple Score Pro Pack
Change recovery speed, iron filter, bottle cap rejection, sensitivity and audio all at once over a questionable signal, and you will not know which change mattered. Start with the right factory search mode, learn how the detector responds, then change one setting at a time.
