Does White's still make metal detectors?

No. White's Electronics closed its Sweet Home, Oregon operation in 2020, and Garrett acquired the White's brand. Plenty of White's detectors are still in the field, and we stock remaining parts and manuals in our White's parts, accessories and manuals collection.

How do I apply an iron-on patch?

Place the patch where you want it, lay a thin cloth over it and press with a hot, dry iron (no steam) for about 30 seconds, then turn the garment over and press from the back. Let it cool before moving it, and wash the item inside out to help the patch last. Find more detecting gear in our metal detecting apparel collection.

Can I sew this patch onto a detector bag instead?

Yes. On nylon, polyester or other heat-sensitive bag fabric, stitch around the edge rather than ironing, since the heat can melt or mark the material. A few stitches at the corners are enough for a pouch or harness. See our detector bags, pouches and covers for gear to put it on.
