The lower rod attaches to the Anderson Bounty Hunter Metal Detector Carbon Fiber Shaft through a screw-lock system on the end of the shaft, which Anderson uses to ensure a tight fit and keep play out of the coil connection. If your lower rod hardware is worn, Anderson also sells replacement lower rod washers.
