Detect-Ed Control Box Cover for Minelab Manticore and Nokta Legend 2

The Detect-Ed control box cover is a fitted canvas sleeve for the Minelab Manticore control pod, with a clear front panel so the screen and every button stay visible and usable with the cover on. It also fits the Nokta Legend 2 control box, which shares the same housing size. Its job is simple: keep scuffs, scratches, dirt and knocks off the most expensive part of a detector that gets set down on rocks, leaned against trucks and stuffed into bags.

Cover or screen protector?

A stick-on screen protector guards the display glass only. This cover wraps the whole pod, so the edges and back, which take the knocks when the detector is laid down, are protected too, and it comes off in seconds for cleaning or resale photos. Most Manticore owners end up running both. Fitting and using it

The cover slips over the control pod on the shaft, with the clear panel over the screen and keypad. Buttons work through the panel, and the pod's ports stay reachable for charging and wired headphones. After beach or muddy sessions, take it off, rinse the canvas in fresh water and let it dry before refitting; a wet cover left on the pod traps salt against the housing. It adds no meaningful weight to the detector.
