Field Use

Trashy Parks and Old Homesites

All Terrain Trash Reject or Fast with Recovery Speed 6 to 8 pulls coins and jewelry out of can slaw and nails. Read the 2D map: good targets cluster high on the conductive axis, iron drifts to the ferrous band even when its number looks tempting.

Salt Beaches and Surf

Beach General for the dry and wet sand, Beach Surf & Seawater in the water, Beach Deep for the low tide line. Multi-IQ+ keeps the machine stable in black sand where single-frequency detectors chatter. Pair it with a sand scoop; the ML 105s are not waterproof, so switch to the speaker or waterproof wired headphones once you are in the water.

Goldfields

Coil Options

The M11 11 in round Double-D covers most hunting. Add the M8 8 x 5.5 in elliptical for iron-heavy sites and tight spaces, or the M15 15 x 12 in elliptical for open fields and beaches where coverage and depth matter. All three are waterproof.
